Vacation - Out of the Country

Thanks for visiting the site. I am currently out of the country on vacation. Although postings have been rare and lame recently, we'll be firing it up again in the new year with a clear purpose and vision.

Please check back in early January for new photos from adventures in Washington, DC and the Caribbean.

Houdini: Innovative Campaign Tool

Below, is a link to an article about The Houdini, a system we used in Colorado to monitor voter activity. It's interesting because it really hasn't been used nor done before and this article provides insight as to how it worked and reveals yet another way the Obama campaign adjusted the campaign paradigm. http://www.techpresident.com/blog/entry/33410/pulling_off_houdini_s_trick

Transistion 44: Technology & Policy -- This Convergence is the Future

Snohomish, WA -- A great article appeared today in The Washington Post, about how the Obama-Biden administration is going to use technology tools that helped us during the campaign to empower our grassroots network and Americans writ-large to advance public policy and bring the change we talked about to actual governance. Check it out here: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/12/03/AR2008120303829.html

Oregon Wine Country

McMinnville, OR -- It's a bit of a late posting, but I like to share photos from this part of the country b/c I think it is underated, but I'm fine keeping it that way b/c it's one of the most scenic landscapes I've seen in this country. But I digress. The point is, if you have ever had one of those nights where you are drinking wine, talking with friends and all of a sudden the bottle is empty and you're like, "Holy Shit, I can't believe I drank all that! It was delicious;" then this place is for you. Check out more photos at my public album on picasa: http://picasaweb.google.com/nick.kowalski/November2008YamhillCountyWineCountryOregon#
